I completed my package design today.

I forgot to blog yesterday so I will just fill you guys in on what I did. I printed out my package design and prepped it to be glued onto the cardboard by cutting slits in it so I can fold it. Then I cut slits in my cardboard so it could be folded also. Then today I cut my design in half for reason being its easier to glue in pieces. I glued my first half on, then my top half on. Now I have to sit and wait and let it dry.

Today i finished my package design. I added my logo a couple more times around the box and added a box code for easy checkout. On Monday i will begin the creation of my box and print out my package design so i can trace it on. The word around the classroom is that the box material is the wrong one and extremely hard to work with.

Today after being absent for two days i finally was able to get pack to work. I was able to complete most of my package design. Now i just have to add my logo, a bar code, and ingredients. Hopefully this will all be done tomorrow and i can start working on physically creating my box.

I decided to redo my logo because of a technicality with the background. So i will be creating a new one tomorrow with possibly a new font, and font effect. Ill post pictures when completed.

Here is my logo i completed for my anti smoking project.

Today i created my shock stick logo. I used an electric font that really relates to my theme. Tomorrow im going to begin designing my package.

My product is called the “Shock Stick “and its purpose is to make smokers think twice about lighting up that cigarette. My product will send an extremely high voltage of electricity throughout the consumer’s whole body, electrocuting that person to near death. If a smoker is willing to get electrocuted that badly and still smoke the cigarette after being fully knowledgeable of all the consequences then unfortunately that person has a true addiction and should get help, but fortunately using the Shock Stick multiple times is scientifically proven to slowly subdue the smokers urge to smoke cigarettes.

Today i worked on getting a background for my logo and full page ad. I seem to have one that i like but now all i have to do is create a text font that will go with my theme. My project is a cigarette that once lit will set a fuze and once that fuze is lit it creates a electric charge. So when the person goes to smoke it they will be shocked by a high voltage.

Today i did my purpose statement and tryed to find a text to match my product.

Today i worked on the package for the anti smoking ad and i am creating a shock cigarette. I already began working on the logo and i have to develop a purpose statement tomorrow in class. I think this project will turn out well.

Today i started the anti smoking competition poster and i decided to do it on smoking while pregnant. I created a smoke coming out of the womans belly button attempting to show that when the girl smokes the baby also smokes. I hope it turns out good.

Today i started brainstorming ideas for the anti smoking ads and i have to say its pretty hard coming up with a original idea that these professionals havent used because there is so many ads that deal with anti smoking. I will get started on my idea tomorrow and hopefully try to win this contest

Today i didnt have much time to work on my project because I came into school late but i got to complete my second face card and will hopefully complete the other three on monday.

Today i finished my King card, i will be working on the other 4 tomorrow hopefully they will turn out okay.

Facecards

Creating these facecards is actually a lot harder then it seems. I dont know if i like my idea, and im doubting my ability to create the suit. I began working on it today and got some pieces of the puzzle done but it still needs more work. I will post a picture of the progress tomorrow.

I apologize for not blogging these couple days ive been trying to get my poster done and wanted to use every minute of my time to work on the project. But today i finished my lion,witch, and wardrobe poster and i am beginning the face cards once again. I have to find a way to make the mens basketball usa jersey into a face cards clothes.

My Final Poster for Lion, Witch, And Wardrobe contest

It took alot of time and constant changes but this is my final draft for the poster contest. The middle of the eye is a lion representing "The lion" and the person eye is the ice witch. Let me know if you guys like it or not.

Today i officially started the poster for the Lion,The Witch, and the Wardrobe. It is absolutely sick. There is no other way to put it. I will post a picture of my work tomorrow.

Today we started a new project to design a poster for the drama club for their new play. The play is called Lion, Which, and the Wardrobe. I am looking forward to designing this poster because I have a good idea in mind. stay tuned

Todays new project

We have to find 5 world or cultural events that are meaningful. This project you must explore what has happened in the world and then find a picture of it and photo bomb that very picture. Should be interesting.

Today i tweeked both of my logos fonts. I made the first logo have a blur around it thanks to the help of Mr.Mo and i increased the size on the second logo and spread out the lower word to use up more space. Pictures coming tomorrow

Today we looked up the difference between a logo and glyph and read up on the creation of the nike logo

I chose these logos because these are some of the most memorable, and well known logos throughout the world. The reason for that is because they are extremely simply, some of them dont even have the company's name. They are all also memorable. They stick in the viewers head because of the way they were designed and the certain colors that were used are meant to make the person looking at the logo remember it. The logos I chose are some of the biggest companies in the world and they're logo have to represent their companies personalty, yet appeal to the public.

Five things that make a good logo:

1. Simplicity, very complicated logos are hard to remember.

2.Has to be memorable. The logo must stick in the viewers head.

3.Its appropriate for the company and their business.

4.The logo can be used in a variety of different ways but still be recognizable.

5. It has to be unique and separate your company from the rest.
