I created my background, header, footer and navigation bar. Now all i have to do is link the navigation bar so it is functinoal

Today I started my final. I am creating a html code for my website called Glass Gaming. I made the logo and found the background texture. Tomorrow I will begin to work on my Navigation Bar.

I havent been blogging alot because i have been so busy but the past three days i have been creating a logo for a professional gaming team and i am trying to create it in illustrator which is alot harder then it seems because i am not used to it. I found the mascot that i want to use but im not sure on how i want to make the text.

Today i linked a website to my image so if you click on the picture you will automatically be taken to www.google.com Tomorrow I will put in a footer and be done with my HTML

Today in class I began and completed my navigation bar. Now all I have to do is set it up so that i can link it through. I also found this website that allows for free template designs and i will also be testing it out to see if it good.

Today I completed the image portion of my banner now I am adding special features to create a more unique banner and fill up empty spaces in the banner itself

Worked on my banner a little more today. I got a vector based design of a jordan that i can use for my sneaker company.

Today i created my banner for my new website. My website will be based on a sneaker repair company. I will post a screen shot when im done tomorrow.

Today I added a border around all my images and even added a under construction image to show that my website is not fully functioning yet. I then added another websites link on my page so if you click on it, it will link you directly to their websites.

Today I created a username box and Password box for my website. I couldnt figure out how to put both boxes on the right on my header. So now i have to research on a solution.

Yesterday we got stuck trying to figure out how to make a image come up on a HTML. I tried looking it up on w3school and still couldnt figure out a way to solve the problem.

Today I created my first HTML page ever. It seems hard at first but once you know what your doing its not that bad. Practice makes perfect when it comes to writing code. The more familiar you get with it the easier and faster you can write it.

Today I created my banner for my first website and looked up a tutorial for a navigation bar.

My First Website

A header is an image that is placed on top of the website or blog. It is normally horizontal in size which consists mainly of logo, tagline or some other elements such as social media icons, advertisement banner or search bar. In addition, the header will usually contain the primary color so it also helps to set the look and feel of the website or blog. Now the difference between that and a banner is that a banner serves a different purpose than a header. It is normally used for informative or advertising purposes and come in different sizes. The standard banner found on most blogs or websites is 125x125 or 250x250 pixels. Many websites use banners for ways of producing revenue. Alot of companies use to use them, but now many users of the website or blog find the banners to be annoying and troublesome.

A pixel is the basic unit of the composition of an image on a television screen, computer monitor, or similar display.

The average size of a header is usually 1240 x 500

Today I made a splashpage of my 10 websites and described why each is successful.

Apple- Apple has one of the most simple modern looking sites. It is easy to use and always features their newest product on the main page Google- Google is a easy to use search engine that gives you the option to search pictures as well as articles. Cisco- The website is clean and modern looking. It gives off a professional feeling that would draw me into the website. Sears- Has almost everything someone would want from tools to kitchen ware. The site has the best sales on the main page allowing users to shop online. Walmart- The website is always adapting to a upcoming event such as the superbowl, they have great deals for that event and make the user want to throw a party with the sales they have. FlightClub- The website is under done but I think thats what makes it so good. The website is extremely easy to use as long as you know the name of the sneaker you are looking up. Espn- Gives you live updates of everything going on regarding sports. BMW- The website features the best car deals and allows you to create your own dream car. Legendary- The website attracted me physically, it looks extremely professional and is geared toward the type of customers that they are selling to.

I believe Gamebattles.com is a successful website because it gives the person browsing the site many options as to what to do. You can explore which system you would like to play on and the websites gives you the option to pursue a career in gaming.
